New Product Manager

M.Sc. (Tech.) Antti Raassina has been appointed Product Manager at Energel Oy effective August 31, 2026. Antti will be responsible for supporting the sales of transmission line products, including Industrias Arruti transmission line hardware & accessories and BMC steel structures. With nearly 20 years of experience in the energy and power grid sector in various roles, Antti brings valuable expertise that strengthens Energel’s capabilities and helps us find the best solutions for our customers’ needs.

New sales assistant

Mona Winqvist has been appointed Sales Assistant at Energel Oy. Mona joined the company just before the summer season, and her contribution has already proven valuable in managing the high volume of orders during the early summer months. Mona brings diverse previous experience from similar roles. Going forward, she will be responsible for supporting sales operations, monitoring deliveries, and coordinating logistics, among other duties.

Energel to supply steel structures

Energel Oy starts as BMC's representative in Finland. BMC has years of experience in supplying overhead line towers, gantry towers and steel supports for substation from China to the Finnish market. The products are manufactured in accordance with EN 1090 standards and Finnish material and hot-dip galvanizing requirements.

Esko Nikkinen, who has been working at Energel since its founding, will retire on 31.12.24. We thank Esko for his more than 30-year career at Energel and wish him a relaxing retirement!

ESITAS part of Arteche group

ESITAS, manufacturer of medium and low voltage instrument transformers in Turkey, has become a part of Arteche group by acquisition, which supports Arteche’s growth strategy. Energel has represented Arteche in Finland, and now we can offer also products supplied by ESITAS at competitive prices.  With these new products we can serve our customers even better!

New Product Manager

Jyrki Salmi has been appointed as Product Manager at Energel Oy starting from 4 October 2021. His responsibilities will include for example sales and marketing of rail electrification products. The product pallet consists of overhead railway line materials manufactured by Arruti Catenaria, DC substation equipment delivered by Sécheron as well as railway switchers and disconnectors supplied by Coelme. Jyrki’s extensive experience in substation projects and in electricity grid maintenance will strengthen further competencies of Energel.

Kolektor ETRA

400 MVA power transformer (410/120/21 kV) manufactured by Kolektor ETRA was transported to Fingrid’s Pyhänselkä substation last weekend. The first transformer of the delivery package, weighing about 300 tn, was transported by a special railway wagon to Muhos after necessary track works were carried out during the night. Then it was hauled to a special truck trailer and moved to Pyhänselkä substation. The transformer will be assembled during November-December 2020 and energised in summer 2021.
